Land & Lot Clearing · Suffolk County
Overgrown land, cleared to the plan your property needs.
Full-service land clearing, or a professional operator and machine by the day. We complete the clearing scope we agree on and hand the property over ready for the next phase defined in your scope. Fine grading, drainage and finished-site preparation are priced separately or stay with your builder.

Clearing the land is rarely the point.
Most people calling about a clearing are not trying to own a cleared lot, but to get to what comes after it.
- Build a home, an addition, a garage or a pool
- Prepare a site for construction or landscaping
- Reclaim acreage that has gone unusable
- Improve access, open up views and trails
- Remove hazardous or storm-damaged growth
- Prepare land for sale or development
We remove the physical obstacles between the property you have and the property you need.
One property. Two ways to get it cleared.
Full-service clearing puts one accountable company on the agreed result, the coordination, the cleanup and the handoff, reducing what you have to manage. Day service is customer-directed capacity: a professional operator and the right machine, working to priorities you set. A different structure, not a lesser version of the work.

What a clearing costs depends on property size, vegetation density, access, equipment, attachments, debris volume, disposal, grading and site conditions.
You choose the level of responsibility you need, instead of paying for a one-size-fits-all package.
The equipment to handle more than surface-level clearing.
Excavator
Tree and stump removal, heavy debris, rocks and buried obstacles, digging and access preparation, log handling.
Compact track loader
Brush cutting, forestry mulching, grappling debris, loading, grading, and working around homes and in tighter areas.
Bulldozer
Open acreage, heavy vegetation, bulk earth movement, access creation, rough grading, larger-scale site preparation.
The attachments
Forestry mulcher, brush cutter, root rake, log and debris grapple, stump grinder, grading bucket.
Clearing gets expensive when the scope is unclear.
What we see go wrong on other people’s projects:
- The wrong equipment arrives
- Trees come down that should have stayed
- The brush is cleared and the stumps are still there
- Debris removal was never in the scope, and the trucking cost appears after the fact
- Access limits are discovered once work has started
- Driveways, lawns or the neighbor’s property take damage
- The property is cleared, but not ready for the next contractor
- Permit or municipal requirements surface too late
We plan the work around the property, the outcome you’re after, and what has to happen after the clearing.
How a full-service clearing runs.
- Assess. We walk the property, identify priorities, review access, and determine what stays and what goes. Free, and no obligation.
- Plan. We define the scope, the equipment, the attachments, the labor, the removal needs and the expected finished condition. Permits filed and arborist sign-off where your town regulates the work.
- Clear. We complete the approved tree, brush, stump, debris and earthmoving work. The same crew, start to finish.
- Remove and restore. We handle the included debris, clean the work area, and complete the rough grading or access restoration that is in scope.
- Walk and hand off. We review the property with you and confirm the agreed scope is complete.
More than machine time.
On full-service projects, we can provide:
- Property readiness assessment
- Keep-or-clear planning
- Equipment and access planning
- A property protection approach
- A debris and trucking plan
- Permit and municipal coordination support
- Builder or contractor handoff information
- A final property walkthrough
This is built for properties that need professional equipment and a real plan, not a basic landscaping cleanup.
Not sure which structure fits?
We’ll explain which structure fits the property, and whether the work calls for full-service clearing, a day booking, or a smaller next step.
Have us walk the propertyWhat full-service completion means.
We complete the agreed clearing scope, handle the included debris, and walk the property with you before sign-off. If an agreed item was missed, we come back and correct it.
This applies to the documented full-service scope. A day booking reserves professional operated capacity for the time you book, not a predetermined amount of completed work.
Major clearing projects take planning.
Heavy-equipment scheduling, weather, ground conditions, access and disposal capacity all affect when a project can start. We give you a real date once we have walked the property and know what the work involves.
Questions worth asking before you book.
Can you work around existing structures?
Yes, and it is most of the skill. We walk the property first and identify what has to be protected: the house, the garage, fences, the driveway, utilities, and the neighbor’s property line. The machine and the attachment are chosen around those constraints.
Can you coordinate with my builder?
Yes. We align the clearing scope, site access and handoff with builders, contractors and architects, so the property is ready for whoever comes next. Handoff information is part of full-service scope.
Is SLT insured?
Fully licensed and insured. Documentation is available on request.
Does clearing include grading?
Rough grading can be included when it is documented in the project scope. Fine grading, drainage work and finished-site preparation are priced separately.
Who decides what gets done during a day booking?
You do. You set the priorities before work begins, and the operator completes as much of the approved work as site conditions, safety and available time allow.
